What this service does

RateMyLab helps you explore tests and compare retailer pricing. Retailers and laboratories handle purchases, sample collection, and results. The public comparison website does not receive report uploads. Personal reports and result history are handled separately in your RateMyLab account on our backend service.

Information used by the site

Search terms are processed to find catalog listings. If you sign in, our authentication system stores your account details, password hashes, and revocable sessions in our database. Hosting providers may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the service.

Technical and diagnostic information

Our hosting and error-reporting systems process request identifiers, response status, timing, and diagnostic events to investigate failures and protect the service. Staff actions may be recorded with the account identifier in an activity log.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal data. Service providers process information needed to host and operate the service. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights.

When you contact us

The contact form opens a draft in your email application. We receive the information you choose to send when you send that email. Please avoid including medical records or other sensitive health information.

External services

Retailer links open other websites with their own privacy policies. Authentication may use cookies required to maintain a signed-in session.

Access, correction, and deletion requests

You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object to processing or withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
