Questions about prices, fees, and results
No insurance is needed to search RateMyLab. Before ordering, ask the retailer whether its price is for self-pay and whether it accepts insurance. A listed cash price does not tell you what your insurance plan will cover.
Searching and comparing on RateMyLab is free. You pay your chosen retailer directly when you order a test.
Different retailers set their own prices and fees, even when the performing lab is the same. Comparing the test details and total cost helps you understand your options.
We show available pricing and fee information. Some retailers add draw, service, or requisition fees. Confirm the final amount on the retailer’s website before ordering.
Your chosen retailer or performing lab provides your results. RateMyLab helps you compare options; it does not collect samples or deliver results.
